of Public International Law at the Graduate Institute of
International Studies in Geneva. Currently an Honorary
Professor at University College London, she has also been a
Visiting Fellow at All Souls College and Visiting Professor
at Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II and
Berkeley.
She has written and taught on diverse topics,
including UN law, particularly sanctions, the International
Court of Justice, treaty law, state responsibility, refugee
law and human rights. She has also acted as legal adviser
and consultant on a number of occasions, including as
Counsel for the Arab League in the ICJ Advisory Opinion on
the /Wall/.
